vs
Kirby L. Sandlin, Defendant

KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS; that Kirby L. Sandlin, as principal and F.P. Cason and J.R. Sandlin, are held and firmly bound unto Sidney J. Catts, Governor of Florida, and his successors in office in the sum of Twelve hundred dollars, lawful money of the United States, for payment whereof well and truly to be made, we bind ourselves, our heirs, administrators and executors, jointly and severally firmly by these presents.

Signed and sealed at Jasper, Florida, this the 2nd, day of February, A.D. 1918.

The condition of this obligation is that whereas, Kirby L. Sandlin, above bounden, was at the Spring Term of Circuit Court, of Hamilton County, Florida, convicted of the offense of Aggravated Assault and has instituted an appellate proceedings by Writ of Error from the Supreme Court of the State of Florida, for the purpose of reviewing the said judgment of conviction,

Now therefore, if the said Kirby L. Sandlin, shall well and truly be personally forthcoming to abide the final judgment in the matter of said prosecution, and shall personally appear at the next Term of said Circuit Court, if the said judgment be reversed to abide the action of said court, then this obligation shall be void.

Personally appeared before me F.P. Cason, who first being duly sworn deposes and says; that said affiant is in the aggregate worth the amount of the penalty of the bond which he has just signed in real estate situated in Hamilton County, Florida, and said land is more accruately and particularly described as follows to-wit;

SW 1/4 , and W ½ of NW ¼ except 5 acres on S side and except 14 acres on E side of said SW ¼, sec 17 (?) Twp 1S R 15e, containing 176, and other lands.
