I have posted a School Census from 1854 that I found in the Court House Archives. Unfortunately, I don’t know if it covers all of Hamilton County or just a portion; also, the names are kind of confusing, so it may not be of any use to anyone after all. But just in case, it’s [...]

I have posted a file that contains the Notary Commission of C.A. Stephens, dated 1918. This was clearly a big deal, as the paper was very high quality and oversized. I wonder if C.A. Stephens received an original for himself to frame, if he chose?

I have posted a file that contains the bond of Kirby L. Sandlin, dated 1918. It appears that Kirby was involved in some sort of court case and had to post a bond in order to be able to stay out of jail until his court date. However, I have not come across the original [...]

I recently found a page online through the Florida Historical Legal Documents site that pertains to Hamilton County. It is the incorporation of a place called Jackson Spring, but I have been unable to determine where it is located or find anyone who has ever heard of it. If anyone can offer any information pertaining [...]
